Almond Trout Salad
Liven up your daily salad with the satisfying crunch of almonds and smoked trout.
Serves 4.
Ingredients
- Mixed lettuce leaves
- 6 roma tomatoes, sliced
- 2 tablespoons capers, rinsed
- 350g smoked trout
- 100g whole almonds
Dressing
- 0.75 cup apple vinegar
- 2 tablespoons mustard oil
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 50g flakes almonds, toasted
Instructions
Place the salad ingredients into serving bowls. Combine the dressing ingredients into a cruet or screw topped jar; shake or whisk to combine; toss salad with dressing before serving
