Almond Muesli Bar
Makes 8 to 10
Ingredients
- 1 cup dry roasted almonds, chopped
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup oat bran
- 1/4 cup pepitas
- 1 cup dried apricots, diced
- 1 cup sultanas
- 1/4 cup plain flour
- 60g butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Grease and line a slice tin or baking tray.
Mix the flour, oats, oat bran, sultanas, pepitas, apricots and sultanas together in a large bowl. Melt the brown sugar, honey and butter in a microwave for one minute. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients and then stir in egg and milk. Press into slice tin or baking tray.
Cook at 180 degrees for 15 minutes. When cooled, cut into slices.
