Australian Almonds Netball Promotion

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1.       Instructions on “How to Enter” form part of these Conditions of Entry. The competition is open to all residents of Australia except employees of the Promoter, their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.

 2.       The promotion commences 12.00am (AEST) July 1, 2011 and ends 11.59pm (AEST) August 31, 2011. Entrants will be required to answer and complete the online entry form. Simply tell us in 100 words or less what your netball team or club could do with $1,000. To ensure your ideas can be bought to life make sure you receive permission from your Club President or Coach before entering online at www.australianalmonds.com.au.

 3.       This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 4.       The draw will take place at the Promoter’s premises (9 William Street, Berri SA 5343) on September 9, 2011 at 11:30am (EST). This promotion will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter. All valid entries received within the Promotional Period will be entered into the prize draw.

5.       The winners will be notified by phone and in writing via mail within five (5) working days of the draw and the names of the prize winners will be published on the promoters website at www.australianalmonds.com.au on 10/09/11.

 6.       The five most creative entries, as determined by the judges, will each win a $1,000 AUD cash prize for their netball club. Total prize pool valued at $5,000 AUD.

The prize will be awarded to the netball club in the form of a cheque made out to the name of the netball club. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, misdirected entries interrupted communications or unavailable network server or other connections, failed telephone, mid-delivery or computer transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic.

7.       Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Conditions of Entry; and/or (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant.

 8.       Subject to State and Territory law, in the event of technical malfunction or any other matter that interferes with or has the potential to interfere with the proper conduct of the promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel, modify or terminate the Promotion.

 9.       All entries become the property of the Promoter.

 10.    The Promoter (The Almond Board of Australia) reserves the right to validate entries including but not limited to visiting the netball club or team.

 11.    Details from entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant.
